Jason Marshall

Pastor

Pastor Jason is a graduate of the West Virginia Baptist Convention’s Bobby Wood School of Christian Studies with a Diploma in Pastoral Ministry. He is currently enrolled in the Master of Divinity program at Palmer Theological Seminary.

 Pastor Jason is a dedicated husband and father. He and his wife, Deidre, have been married since January 2010, and they have two children: Rachel and Elon. He has a heart for missions, having been to Russia thrice: once in 2005, once in 2016, and once in 2018. He currently serves as the chairman of the West Virginia Baptist Convention’s Russia Mission Partnership Team.

 Pastor Jason is passionate about equipping the saints for the work of ministry. To that end, he diligently cultivates his love for God’s Word, and preaches and teaches verse by verse through the Bible, allowing the text to say what it says. He also encourages the congregation to read and study God’s Word for themselves, and to cultivate their love for Christ through prayer and daily devotions. Together, as a church empowered by the Holy Spirit through preaching, teaching, and hands-on training, Pastor Jason believes that we can reach our friends and family and the surrounding community with the love of Jesus and with his Gospel.
